The Featured Content Glider is a javascript code that has been implemented with the BISI / Highwire (buyitsellit.com) Featured Product code in order to turn your featured products section on your home page into a "glide" show.

Each division of the glider contains a single featured product. The image, title, price and short description of your featured product will be displayed as it "glides" onstage from the right to be front and center. The other products are neatly hidden away using scripting code until it's their turn in the lime light.
Why use the Featured Content Glider?- It looks nicer and is more "upscale" than the boxy, boring standard table layout currently used in most BISI / Highwire templates.
- Larger images of your products are implemented as each product no longer has to share front page space with the rest of the featured items.
- Each product also contains the "short description". This allows your customer to gain more info about your products while also increasing your keywords on the home page of your site. Since all the featured products -- along with their short descriptions -- are in the html of the home page at all times, your keyword content is greatly increased.
- The content of the slideshow is still clickable just as in the traditional Featured Product display. The image, title and "more info" buttons will take you to the product page. The "buy now" button will auto-add the item to your cart and take you to the cart page.
- Optional "prev/pause/next" buttons allow your customers to navigate throught your featured products without having to wait for them to glide in.
